Other facts:

A bezel setting will sit more flat to the skin.

A prong setting will sit up higher, but show a bit more of the stone.

White gold will make a diamond, or clear CZ gemstone, look larger.

A side mounted barbell (on the bottom side) will sit more flat to the skin than a center mounted barbell. This is an option on bezel mounts.

When ordering a nose bone, be aware that the inside ball will be thicker than your piercing. You will need to stretch the piercing to change nose bone jewelry. The piercing will stretch by taking the nose bone out, or putting the nose bone in.

If your 18 gauge nose screw spins to the outside of your nose, you should bend the cork screw upward to pinch the inside of your nose (easy with gold).

Facts:

A professional nose piercing will be 18 gauge in size

If you wear a thinner gauge piece of jewelry, your nose will quickly heal down to the thinner gauge (such as 20 gauge)

The larger the gauge number, the thinner the bar

If your piercing has healed downward, please order 20 gauge

If your piercing is still the same as it was pierced, please order 18 gauge.

Ring Opening Pliers
